Came here for the first time. I remember seeing it online years ago and hearing good things. Well years later I was driving by and decided to stop in. The bagels are ok. After being down here for 11 years I’ve learned to lower my expectations. My main issue with the bagels is the lack of seeds. They’re all pretty much plain bagels with a little sprinkle of seeds. The thing that really annoyed me was the service. There wasn’t much going on and all I ordered was a few bagels in a bag with a 1/4 of cream cheese. Nothing sliced or toasted. Instead of putting the bagels in a bag as I ordered, like every single place does, the guy just wrote it on a ticket and hung it up behind other tickets for different sandwiches. I had to wait for all the other sandwiches to be made before they even got to my order and once they got to my order it still took quite a bit of effort to get those bagels in a bag and cream cheese in a container. It may not seem like a big issue but I just never experienced that before in any bagel place. Thankfully there’s a couple of other places closer to me that I can go to.

Great little bagel shop. I read the reviews but thought we'd try it out ourselves. It was Great. Asiago Bacon and Egg, coffee was fresh and the Lox spread was good /fresh. Reasonably priced. Fast service. We will definitely be back.

I’m visiting my daughter from Florida and I wanted to get a bagel for breakfast. I googled and came up with Mike’s. I saw that they are New York style bagel and I’m originally from New York so of course I went to this location. The people are friendly. The bagels were out like at any other bagel shop. I ordered a plain bagel and an everything bagel. It was a takeout order and when I got home and took the bagels out, they were hard as rocks. They were flat, not spongy like a good bagel should be. And they were definitely not chewy. My suggestion is to take New York out of the mix because everybody tries to use New York as marketing nine times out of 10 it’s not even close., And this is a perfect example! The bagels were fair. The pricing was high and definitely not worth the 22 minute drive. If you’ve lived in North Carolina all your life, you wouldn’t know any better to compare, but venture out because once you have a real New York style bagel, you would never go back to this place.

Being from Ny and now living in Charlotte I can say that this place is a joke. $8 dollars for this? FOR THIS??? 10/10 do not recommend.

Delicious and affordable! The bagels rivaled ones I love in NY, and there are such creative flavors and sandwiches! I also really enjoyed the muffins and coffee cakes! Lots of seating, quick, friendly service, accesible, bathroom that is wide enough to get a walker into, and plenty of free parking, including handicapped parking, directly out front.
